Warm, hot, and pilot-light topologies depending on the workload. DR sites in a separate region or a separate facility with documented failover, failback, and dependency order. Runbooks written for the on-call engineer, not the architect.

Restore drills on a schedule. We exercise restores quarterly at minimum — full VM recoveries, database point-in-time restores, and full-site failover tests — and we issue a written report after each one. Because we operate the network underneath, we plan DR with the transit, peering, and DNS topology in view, not as an afterthought.

Questions teams ask before signing.

What RTO and RPO can you actually deliver?

It depends on the workload and the budget. Sub-minute RPO with hot DR for the workloads that justify it. Hours for warm. A day for cold archive. We set the numbers against business impact and we prove them in drills, not in a slide.

Do you store backups outside our primary cloud or facility?

Always. Backups in the same fault domain as the primary are not backups. We store immutable copies in a separate facility, a separate cloud region, or our own colo — whichever fault model fits the threat profile.

How often do you test restores?

Quarterly at minimum, with a written report each time. High-impact workloads on a monthly cadence. Full DR failover tests at least annually, with stakeholder sign-off and documented lessons.

Can you protect Microsoft 365 and Google Workspace?

Yes. SaaS data is not backed up by the SaaS vendor in the way most teams assume. We run independent backup for Exchange, SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, Gmail, and Drive with retention against your compliance policy.
