BGP IP transit on a network we actually run.
Full tables on AS54098, multi-homed since 2011. Bring your own ASN and prefixes — we handle the policy and the pager.

IP Transit (BGP), in plain terms.
Full BGP transit on AS54098, the ASN we have operated since 2011. Upstream through AS21700 (Neptune Networks), with direct peering at AS6939 Hurricane Electric and AS3257 GTT, plus internet exchange peering. Through GTT you reach the rest of the Tier-1 fabric — Cogent, Verizon, Arelion, NTT, Deutsche Telekom, Lumen, AT&T, Tata, Zayo, and Telxius.
Bring your own ASN and prefixes. We build the session, write the prefix-list, set the communities and document the policy. IPv4 and IPv6 from day one. RPKI signing where you want it, BGP communities for traffic engineering, prepending and local-pref knobs exposed instead of hidden behind a portal.
On-call is staffed by the engineers who configured your session — not a ticket triage layer. When a path flaps or a peer goes dark, the person reading the alert already knows your topology and your maintenance window.
Common triggers for this engagement.
- 01You run your own ASN and need a transit provider that speaks BGP fluently
- 02You want multi-homing without rebuilding your edge for each upstream
- 03Your current provider's portal hides the knobs you need to tune
- 04You need transit at a colo where we already have presence or can extend
Questions teams ask before signing.
Can I bring my own ASN and prefixes?
Yes — that is the expected setup. We will build the eBGP session against your ASN, accept your announced prefixes per a documented prefix-list, and coordinate LOA / RPKI signing as needed. If you do not yet have an ASN, we can advise on the ARIN process.
What upstreams and peers sit behind AS54098?
Direct peering with AS6939 Hurricane Electric and AS3257 GTT, transit through AS21700, plus internet exchange peering. Through GTT we reach Cogent, Verizon, Arelion, NTT, Deutsche Telekom, Lumen, PCCW, Orange, Tata, Zayo, Telecom Italia Sparkle, Liberty Global, AT&T and Telxius.
Do you require a minimum commit?
We size to the work. There is a sensible minimum to cover the port and cross-connect, but we are not going to force you into a tier that does not match your traffic. Burstable and committed-rate options both exist — ask and we will quote honestly.
Who answers when BGP breaks at 3am?
An engineer who has read your config — not a script reader. Pages route to humans on a follow-the-sun rotation and we keep the runbook for your session in the same place we keep ours.
Frequently scoped alongside this work.
Direct Internet Access (DIA)
Dedicated internet handoff with a clean SLA and an engineer who actually reads it. Ports sized to the work, not to the marketing tier.
DDoS Mitigation
Traffic scrubbing and BGP-level filtering on AS54098 for the floods that don't politely stop. We design the runbook in advance so the 3 a.m. version isn't a first draft.
Specialized Network Services
Point-to-point circuits, L2VPN, and the odd cross-connect that doesn't have a marketing page. Built for the architectures vendors push back on.
Network Architecture and Engineering
Design, review, and hands-on implementation. The same engineers writing the design are the ones who pick up the phone when a route flaps.
